Research Associate Professor (中文链接)
Our lab invites applications for the position of Research Associate Professor in Westlake Laboratory (西湖实验室).
Responsibilities:
- Conduct high-quality, independent research within your specialty, contributing to the body of knowledge in the field.
- Publish research findings in esteemed academic journals and present at national and international conferences.
- Assist in developing and maintaining research grants, contracts, and budgets.
- Supervise, mentor, and provide guidance to graduate students, and post-doctoral researchers.
- Perform other duties as required or assigned.
Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in Biology, Bioinformatics, Computer Science or closely related discipline.
- At least five years of relevant experience after Ph.D. graduation
- Track record of publications in scientific journals.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to work collaboratively.

Postdoctoral Fellow in Computational Biology (中文链接)
Our research group is seeking highly motivated and skilled computational biologists to join our team as postdoctoral fellows. The successful candidate will work on projects focused on the analysis of large-scale single-cell multi-omics data, with a particular emphasis on the development and application of deep learning models.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and apply computational tools and pipelines for analysis of large-scale single-cell multi-omics datasets.
- Contribute to the development of novel computational approaches for analysis and interpretation of multi-dimensional datasets.
- Use machine learning and statistical modeling to derive insights from complex biological data sets.
- Publish research findings in scientific journals and present research at scientific meetings.
- Train and mentor junior lab members, including graduate students and undergraduate researchers.
Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field. Candidates with a Ph.D. in Biology who are strongly motivated to transition to computational biology may also be considered.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python and/or Rust.
- Experience with analysis of high-throughput sequencing data sets, such as RNA-seq, ChIP-seq, and/or ATAC-seq.
- Knowledge of statistical modeling, machine learning, and/or data visualization.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
- Track record of publications in scientific journals.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced research environment.

Research Assistant/Programmer (中文链接)
We are seeking highly motivated research assistants to join our computational biology research team. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of a senior scientist and contribute to ongoing research projects focused on the development of state-of-the-art computational tools.
Responsibilities:

Process and analyze large-scale genomic and transcriptomic data sets using established computational tools and pipelines.
